HOUMA, La. — A mail carrier got bitten — by a barking man, police said.

Mark D. Plumb, 20, of Butler, Mo., was arrested and charged with simple battery after he ran barking from a house and bit the letter carrier on the shoulder, police spokesman Lt. Todd Duplantis said.

Plumb said he bit the carrier as a joke, and has no history of criminal activity or mental illness, police said.

Plumb was released from the Terrebonne Parish jail after posting $165 bond."

I crash proms to pick up guys.

They finally found where the skylights were coming from. Regardless of both having to use the bathroom really badly, they followed the lights halfway from Anderson all the way to the Brooks Center. In the end, the girls made three U-turns before finally resting their eyes on half a dozen empty chairs surrounding the three large rotating beams. Courtney and Britta giggled as they ran up to it. Looking around frantically, they began making bunny and barking dog shadowpuppets; they even attempted a bat.
However, they were suddenly interupted by a white truck driving straight towards them. Frozen, they began to panic- white faces glowing from the large lighted apparatus. Courtney bolted towards Brooks- Britta towards the car. They collided with a slight thud. Britta took a second to regain her balance before following Courtney on the dark pathway, giving Courtney a fifty mile head start.
Thankful she had wore tennis shoes, Britta continued after her friend in the dark, passing confused pedestrians. She saw Courtney passing a group of three kids, frantically yelling something at her. Seeing the second runner, they asked, "What's going on?! Why are you running?!"
"It's a pipebomb!! Ahhhhhhh!"
The girls rounded the corner around the library, ran up the steps, and pushed on the library doors, only to find them locked. They thought for a moment, deciding where the closest bathroom would be. They decided to check the Brooks Center. Running back past the same group of kids, they saw a boy about to walk out of the building. Just as he was stepping out the door, the girls squeezed through in some kind of Bond manuever just as he let go of the door, and in less than a second, they disappeared up the stairs.
